The Saniswift drain pump from Saniflo is used to pump gray water away from a variety of fixtures in residential applications. Easy to install and small enough to fit underneath a shower base or cabinet, it is ideal for all of your drainage needs. When the water enters the Saniswift, it activates a pressure switch, which in turn starts the motor. A spindle/shaft drives the impeller and therefore the moving parts are kept to an absolute minimum. The unit pumps wastewater upward 14 feet and/or 140 feet horizontally. A normal operating cycle for the Sanivite can be as short as 2 - 10 seconds, making power consumption minimal. The wastewater is discharged into the Saniswift via (2) 1.5-inch inlets, on either side of the housing and an additional inlet on the top of the unit. A non-return valve, which comes already assembled on the discharge rubber connector, prevents backflow into the unit. The Saniswift will also discharge the wastewater from a variety of other sanitary fixtures such as a laundry sink, a shower, and a urinal.
